The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, continues to provide BNB Coin holders with regular passive income through its HODLer Airdrop program.

Plasma (XPL) has become the 44th HODLer Airdrop project on Binance.

What is Plasma (XPL)?

Plasma (XPL) is a Layer 1, EVM-compatible blockchain specifically designed for high-volume, low-cost global stablecoin payments.

Users who subscribed their BNB to Simple Earn (Flexible and/or Locked) and/or On-Chain Yields products between 2025-09-10 00:00 (UTC) and 2025-09-13 23:59 (UTC) will receive the airdrop distribution. HODLer Airdrop details are expected to be available within 24 hours, and the new token will be credited to users’ Spot Accounts at least 1 hour before trading begins.

Binance will list XPL on 2025-09-25 at 13:00 (UTC) and open trading against USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY pairs. The seed tag will be applied to XPL. Binance will also support Tether (USDT) deposits and withdrawals on the Plasma Network. Users can start depositing XPL and USDT from 2025-09-24 at 10:00 (UTC).

Genesis Total Token Supply: 10,000,000,000 XPL

Max Token Supply: Infinite (5% of initial max supply in year 1, decreasing by 0.5% per year with a floor at 3%)

HODLer Airdrops Token Rewards: 75,000,000 XPL (0.75% of genesis total token supply)

An additional 50,000,000 XPL will be allocated to marketing campaigns after the spot listing, and 150,000,000 XPL will be allocated to future marketing campaigns 6 months later. Details will be provided in separate announcements.

By subscribing BNB to On-Chain Yields, users automatically qualify for HODLer Airdrops and Launchpool rewards.

Unlike other earning methods that require ongoing actions, HODLer Airdrops reward users retroactively, providing a simple way to earn additional tokens. By subscribing BNB to Simple Earn products and/or On-Chain Yields, users can automatically qualify for token rewards.

Snapshots of user balances and total pool balances will be taken multiple times each hour to calculate users’ hourly average balances in Simple Earn (Flexible and/or Locked) and/or On-Chain Yields products. Binance will use historical snapshots of user balances taken at random periods after this announcement to determine user rewards.

For example, the reward calculation for HODLer Airdrops on 2024-06-11 may reference snapshots of user balances from 2024-06-01 to 2024-06-07.

Eligible users will receive HODLer Airdrops rewards in their Spot Accounts within 24 hours after the HODLer Airdrops announcement.
